Job Summary of Facilities Operations Specialist:
This role involves overseeing critical programs such as janitorial services, flooring maintenance, lighting management, exterior upkeep, shopping cart repairs, and addressing immediate requests across Burlington Stores’ retail locations throughout the country. The primary objective is to guarantee the efficient delivery of these services by supervising vendors, adhering to budgetary constraints, and working closely with internal departments and store leaders.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facilities Operations Specialist:
- Ensure the timely upkeep and repair of facilities with a proactive approach while adhering to financial constraints.
- Create project outlines and oversee service providers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Guarantee adherence to vendor agreements and uphold performance criteria.
- Work together with store and field management to guarantee uniform compliance with the program.
- Organize tasks for evening and weekend shifts to facilitate the opening of new stores, renovations, and unique initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with Project and Facility Specialists in areas where duties overlap.
- Oversee cleaning operations for recently established retail outlets and streamline the process to enhance efficiency during store launch.
- Supervise outdoor property upkeep to guarantee alignment with Burlington regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance of shopping carts nationwide while adhering to financial constraints.
Qualifications and Experience of Facilities Operations Specialist:
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree or the appropriate level of experience necessary.
- With over 5 years of experience in maintaining facilities in a retail or commercial environment across multiple units.
- Preference is given to candidates with prior project management experience.
- Experience with platforms like Service Channel for managing work orders is advantageous.
- Having a practical understanding of Oracle financial software can be advantageous.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) required.

Salary:
The yearly salary falls within the range of $50,000 to $65,000
