Job Summary of Sales Floor Associate:
In the capacity of a Sales Associate, one will aid the Store Management Team in establishing, displaying, and sustaining a seasonal retail establishment. This position will involve providing exceptional customer service while assisting with everyday store tasks, such as driving sales, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing theft.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Floor Associate:
- Assist with the arrangement, promotion, closure, and dismantling of the store.
- Ensure superior guest experiences that conform to the service standards outlined by the company.
- Help increase sales by creating dynamic interactions with customers and utilizing sign waving techniques.
- Keep the store tidy and organized by fulfilling general housekeeping duties.
- Undertake merchandising, signing, and pricing responsibilities to ensure the exactness of product exhibitions.
- Carry out sales transactions smoothly through proficient use of the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Comply with guidelines for the protection of store assets and prevention of losses.
- Observe safety procedures, which entail climbing ladders and setting up store fixtures.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Floor Associate:
- The minimum age for participation is 16 years old.
- Competence in ascending ladders and installing fixtures.
- Having the ability to raise and shift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
- Impressive communication skills and outstanding customer support abilities.
- Skill in adapting to a high-speed, seasonal retail environment.
