Job Summary of Service Head:
The position holds great importance in supporting the smooth functioning of front-end operations and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing daily customer service operations, exemplifying professionalism, promoting team collaboration, and ensuring a customer-first orientation in all interactions. Proficiency in leadership, a solutions-driven mentality, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency and high service standards are crucial for this role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Service Head:
- Supervise and bolster customer care endeavors at the store’s entrance, maintaining a welcoming and orderly setup.
- Reinforce Burlington’s customer-centric service philosophy with front-end team members to ensure a consistent approach.
- Ensure smooth processing of transactions at the register while promptly and professionally handling any customer concerns.
- Improve speed and customer satisfaction at the checkout by coaching the team and providing direct support.
- Supervise the coordination of team members’ break and meal rotations while meeting store coverage requirements.
Qualifications and Experience of Service Head:
- The job entails working at different times, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Adept leadership attributes and the skill to motivate individuals within a fast-moving context.
- Exceptional problem-solving expertise, communication proficiency, and customer service acumen.
- Capable of hoisting boxes with a weight of 40 pounds or more and standing or walking for extended periods without strain.
