Job Summary of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

This position involves the upkeep and proper functioning of warehouse tools, equipment, and infrastructure. The technician plays a crucial role in promoting the safety and smooth operation of the facility through conducting regular maintenance, identifying mechanical problems, and maintaining the overall condition of the distribution center.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

• Conduct regular and ad-hoc upkeep tasks on conveyors, sorters, labelers, and powered machinery by referencing manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Identify and address equipment malfunctions and promptly attend to service requests, escalating intricate issues as required.
• Keep a record of maintenance activities and the utilization of components in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure the batteries of powered industrial trucks are properly maintained and recharged to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Follow safety regulations when using powered industrial vehicles and aerial lifts.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and engage in safety procedures at the workplace.
• Carry out any other tasks as designated.

Qualifications and Experience of Distribution Warehouse Maintenance:

• Preferred qualifications include prior experience in equipment or warehouse upkeep.
• Skill in interpreting technical diagrams, repair guides, and architectural plans.
• Proficiency in maintenance monitoring software like CMMS.
• Capable of lifting weights exceeding 50 pounds and performing tasks that involve different physical postures like bending, climbing, and stretching.
• Openness to operate in diverse environmental surroundings, which may encompass both indoor and outdoor locations.
