Job Summary of Team Lead:
This position is responsible for supporting daily store operations through team leadership, merchandise execution, and customer engagement. The role focuses on coaching associates, promoting loyalty initiatives, and ensuring a consistent and efficient shopping environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Team Lead:
- Help in the advancement and retention of team members by conducting coaching and training sessions.
- Educate and empower team members to inform guests about credit and loyalty programs to increase customer retention.
- Abide by store merchandising regulations, manage product distribution, and align operational processes to meet brand expectations efficiently.
- Incorporating business reporting tools into operations is essential for guiding decision-making and meeting performance benchmarks.
- Stay informed about and utilize corporate systems, software, and processes.
- Stimulate team morale by actively participating in company recognition and incentive initiatives.
- Encourage team members to work together collaboratively and stay engaged.
- Comply with any further duties as designated by those in authority.
Qualifications and Experience of Team Lead:
- A high school diploma is a compulsory qualification, or its equal is acceptable.
- An ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of supervisory experience under their belt.
- Proficiency in communication, interpersonal relations, and critical thinking is significant.
- Capacity to operate independently or as a part of a team.
- Knowledgeable in the operation of Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools based on previous experience.
- Availability to work various hours, such as mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
