Job Summary of Seasonal Retail Assistant:
In the capacity of a Sales Associate, one will aid the Store Management Team in establishing, displaying, and sustaining a seasonal retail establishment. This position will involve providing exceptional customer service while assisting with everyday store tasks, such as driving sales, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing theft.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Seasonal Retail Assistant:
- Help in the assembly, presentation, closure, and teardown of the store.
- Ensure exceptional guest service delivery that complies with the company's service standards.
- Assist in the sales process by actively engaging with customers and utilizing sign waving for promotional purposes.
- Manage general housekeeping tasks to uphold the cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Fulfill merchandising, signing, and pricing obligations to secure the exactitude of product showcases.
- Manage sales transactions effectively by efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Follow established protocols to protect store assets from potential risks.
- Ensure safety compliance by properly using ladders and maintaining store fixtures.
Qualifications and Experience of Seasonal Retail Assistant:
- Individuals must be at least 16 years of age in order to be eligible.
- Proficiency in ascending ladders and arranging installations.
- Having the capacity to pick up and relocate objects that are as heavy as 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
- Impressive communication skills and outstanding customer support abilities.
- Aptitude for excelling in a rapidly changing and seasonal retail sector.
