Job Summary of Customer Lead:
This position plays a vital role in supporting front-end operations and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This individual will lead day-to-day customer service activities while modeling professionalism, encouraging team collaboration, and ensuring a customer-first approach across all interactions. The role requires leadership capabilities, a solutions-focused mindset, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency and friendly service standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Lead:
- Manage and assist in customer support activities at the front of the store, guaranteeing a welcoming and well-organized environment.
- Promote Burlington’s customer-centric philosophy among front-end team members to enhance the overall service experience for customers.
- Manage the register effectively and provide prompt and professional assistance in resolving customer concerns.
- Boost checkout speed and hospitality by supporting the team through coaching and hands-on guidance.
- Monitor the coordination of team members’ break and meal times to ensure store coverage requirements are met.
Qualifications and Experience of Customer Lead:
- The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the proficiency to inspire and motivate others in a high-speed setting.
- Proficient in resolving issues, communicating efficiently, and offering high-quality customer care.
- Skilled in lifting boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and capable of standing or walking for extended periods without experiencing any discomfort.
