Job Summary of Merchandising Associate:

The role of the Sales Associate is to assist the Store Management Team with the setup, presentation, and maintenance of a seasonal retail store. They are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service while supporting daily store operations, including driving sales, cleaning, and preventing theft.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Merchandising Associate:

• Aid with the setup, display, breakdown, and dismantling of the store.
• Deliver exceptional customer care within the parameters of the company's service standards.
• Contribute to sales success by fostering engaging interactions with customers and utilizing sign waving strategies.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to uphold store cleanliness and organization.
• Implement merchandising, signing, and pricing tasks to secure the precision of product placements.
• Ensure smooth handling of sales transactions by operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Enforce loss prevention policies to ensure the safety of store resources.
• Abide by safety rules, which include ascending ladders and adjusting store displays.

Qualifications and Experience of Merchandising Associate:

• It is necessary to be at least 16 years of age.
• Proficiency in ladder climbing and fixture arrangement.
• Capable of carrying and moving objects up to 50 pounds in weight.
• Comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
• Solid communication aptitude and superior customer relations competency.
• Aptitude for excelling in a rapidly changing and seasonal retail sector.
