In the position of a Sales Associate, one will provide assistance to the Store Management Team in setting up, presenting, and preserving a seasonal retail store. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service and aiding in the various functions of the store, such as increasing sales, ensuring cleanliness, and implementing theft prevention measures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Operations Associate:
- Aid with the installation, merchandising, packing, and dismantling of the store.
- Offer outstanding customer assistance consistent with the service quality expected by the company.
- Assist in the sales process by actively engaging with customers and utilizing sign waving for promotional purposes.
- Complete housekeeping duties to ensure the store remains clean and organized.
- Fulfill merchandising, signing, and pricing obligations to secure the exactitude of product showcases.
- Competently process sales transactions through efficient operation of the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain adherence to policies that aim to prevent losses and protect store assets.
- Uphold safety regulations by safely maneuvering ladders and arranging store fixtures.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Operations Associate:
- The requirement is for individuals to be 16 years of age or older.
- Proficiency in ladder climbing and fixture placement.
- Capable of hoisting and moving up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for up to 8 hours.
- Advanced communication proficiency and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Skill in coping with the fast tempo of a seasonal retail setup.
