Field Visual Merchandising Manager
Job Summary of Field Visual Merchandising Manager:
The Regional Visual Manager drives the brand’s visual merchandising strategy within the region, adapting it to meet specific regional needs. This role influences the Regional Upper Field team to ensure consistent visual execution across all stores in the region. The Regional Visual Manager will focus on building merchandising capabilities, particularly within the District Manager population, and reports directly to the Field Visual Director.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Field Visual Merchandising Manager:
- Lead the Visual Trainer within the region, providing training to all levels, from store staff to Upper Field leadership.
- Partner with the Regional Director to identify and address developmental opportunities related to visual merchandising, with a special emphasis on District Managers.
- Facilitate district-level visual merchandising workshops in collaboration with District Manager partners to strengthen merchandising skills.
- Work with the Regional Director to develop a strategy aimed at driving profitable sales through effective merchandising and create feedback loops to ensure goals are met.
- Balance creativity and analytical insights to make customer-focused decisions that improve sales and visual presentation.
- Track, analyze, and determine region-specific merchandising actions in partnership with the Visual Director and Regional Director.
- Act as a liaison between field teams and headquarters (HQ) Visual, providing leadership and support in the divisional team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that seasonal products are displayed in line with brand marketing and product launches.
- Take on additional project work or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience of Field Visual Merchandising Manager:
- 80% store time, 20% strategy-focused work supporting the assigned region.
- Proven ability to drive results and lead successful teams.
- Ability to assess complex situations, analyze data, and provide solutions.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in multi-unit, high-volume, and complex retail business leadership.
- 5+ years of visual presentation experience, with a focus on training and development.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs, including overnight travel up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong presentation skills and digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneDrive).
