Job Summary of Customer Supervisor:

This role is vital in assisting front-end operations and ensuring top-notch customer experiences. The holder of this position will be leading customer service activities on a daily basis, setting a professional tone, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring a customer-focused approach across all interactions. This role demands leadership abilities, a problem-solving orientation, and a dedication to upholding operational efficiency and friendly service standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Supervisor:

• Guide and assist with customer service tasks near the store’s entrance, ensuring a friendly and systematic environment.
• Encourage front-end associates to align with Burlington’s values and prioritize customer satisfaction in their interactions.
• Supervise the completion of register transactions and promptly address any customer issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Optimize the checkout process with team coaching and hands-on assistance for increased speed and friendliness.
• Administer team scheduling for breaks and meals to ensure adequate store coverage is maintained.

Qualifications and Experience of Customer Supervisor:

• The role may involve working unconventional hours, such as early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated leadership prowess and the aptitude to inspire and spur others in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong skills in problem resolution, communication, and attending to customer needs.
• Being able to lift boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and remaining on one’s feet or in motion for extended periods of time.
